How to Make Biscuits and Gravy Casserole
Add butter to a hot 10-inch cast-iron skillet. (Note, you do not have to use cast iron, any skillet that is oven-safe is fine.)
Then, add your breakfast sausage and break it up with a wooden spoon. Cook until sausage is a golden brown and fully done.
Next, stir in the flour, salt, and pepper. Keep cooking until the meat is done.
Gradually stir in the milk and let the mixture come to a boil. Simmer a few more minutes until your gravy is thickened and creamy.
Prepare the Bisquick mix, then drop biscuits by spoonfuls on top of the warm sausage gravy. Bake until biscuits begin to turn golden brown.
Brush biscuits with melted butter and serve immediately.

Hi Crissy … it is great to find someone that puts love for Jesus above all else and is not afraid or embarrassed to declare their faith to the world. This looks like the blog I have been looking for with recipes that the whole family will love (we are a family of mostly picky eaters).
Hi! I would like to know if your recipes can be E-mailed to myself? I didn’t find an envelope or anything I recognized. Thanks
They way I interpret it isโฆ you have the sausage gravy in your cast iron skillet. ย In a separate bowl mix the bisquik and milk. ย Then spoon drop that dough into the sausage gravy. ย Then put the cast iron skillet in the oven. ย They turn out awesome that way.ย
