Cast-Iron Skillet Cookie Recipe
The result is an oooey-gooey slice of chocolate chip goodness. It’s chocolate chip cookie heaven!
To make this incredible chocolate chip cookie skillet, you’ll need to have the following ingredients on hand. Remember, our full recipe along with all the specific details can always be found near the bottom of the page on the printable recipe card.
butter, softened
light brown sugar
granulated sugar
egg
vanilla extract
all-purpose flour
baking soda
salt
semi-sweet chocolate chips
Begin the recipe by preheating the oven to 350 degrees.
Next, stir together the flour, salt, and baking soda; set aside.
In another mixing bowl, using a wooden spoon, combine the sugars and the butter until well blended.
Stir in the egg and the vanilla until blended.
Then, stir in the flour mixture, and finally, the chocolate chips.
Spread evenly into a 10 inch cast-iron skillet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the center is just set.
Allow your skillet chocolate chip cookie to cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting.

Notes
- May look under done. The cookie will continue to cook when removed from the oven.
- This dough will come together better with your butter nice and soft. Not MELTED, but very soft.
